About the Author

Wenna Reuyan is a 25-year old entrepreneur, born and raised in Davao City, Philippines. She was a government scholar of the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) - a school under the supervision of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), renowned for it's intensive enrollment screening process, high standards, and advanced curriculum in the fields of math and sciences.

Wenna volunteered for the Children's Science Interactive Workshop (CSIW) way back 1995, to promote the Public Understanding of Science, Technology and Environment (PUSTE) to Filipino children nationwide. In the summer of 1998, she helped analyze levels of pollution in Davao City's seawater and air, as a lab assistant in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). As an effort to help protect the environment, she oversaw the Junior's Ecologist Movement (JEM) at PSHS-SMC and became a member of the I Love The Ocean Movement (ILOM) in 1999. She was voted the Constitution and By-Laws Chairperson for the JEM Council of Davao City in the same year, and acted on several environmental preservation projects.

Wenna represented her school in various inter-school games - as the muse of their sports teams. She holds two titles: Ms. DBA 1998 and Ms. JS Cup 1999. She's a semi-finalist for Mutya ng Dabaw (Ms. Davao) in 1998, and a runner-up in others. As a partial requirement for graduation, Wenna has undergone a Preparatory Military Training (PMT) during her Junior and Senior years, and graduated with the rank of Cadette First Lieutenant, S2 (Intelligence Officer) of the Corps' Second Battalion, and a Liaison Officer, as appointed by the Corps Commander.

She went to the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) in 1999 to pursue a Science Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, with the hope of realizing her childhood dream of working for NASA someday. During her college years, she was a member of the Talent Pool of the LCB Performing Arts Center. Rehearsals and dance classes were scheduled in the evenings and weekends, leaving the daytime for academic classes and other schoolwork. She played different roles in a number of theatre productions, and had the chance to work backstage, as well. Upon graduation from the University, she was one of the Top 20 students in the ECE Class of 2004. Wenna passed the Board Exam on November of the same year, and she received her engineering license weeks after.

Shortly after her Professional Oath, she decided to help her parents in their business of watches and jewelries, which was established in 1985. Occasionally, she would serve as an encoder for United Laboratories (UNILAB) during Medical Conventions.

On January 2005, her godmother - Sonia Ng Aquino - who lives in California then (now in Utah), introduced XanGo to the family. On the 5th of June 2005, Wenna signed up for XanGo LLC, as an independent distributor. Together with her mom, Inday, they have helped produce leaders in Davao, and have touched lives in most remarkable ways. On September 2005, Inday became a top leader in the Philippines, and was invited for a dinner with the company's Founders, along with the other leaders in the country, during XanGo Philippines' Grand Opening at Makati Shangri-La hotel. In the Summer of 2006, Wenna became the youngest top leader in the Philippines. Today, they have a growing worldwide organization, committed to helping people achieve better health through good nutrition.

Wenna was on the cover of the GO Magazine, on May 2007 (Asia issue). The article was reprinted on August 2007 for US/Canada. Photos were taken by Marc Cartwright, an American celebrity portrait photographer based in West Hollywood, California. Article was written by a prolific, well-traveled writer from Utah, Dainon Moody.

Wenna continues to share the XanGo opportunity to everyone. She travels on demand, and co-hosts XanGo Corporate City meetings. With XanGo's commitment to charities, Wenna is happy knowing that while she is doing the business and while she is drinking the juice, she is also making a difference in the world.
